NK at the Latin American Music Awards called on the whole world to support Ukraine

Famous Ukrainian singer NK and popular Latin American singers expressed their support and solidarity with Ukraine during one of the most important Latin American Music Awards 2022 in the USA.

The annual award was opened by the world famous band Black Eyed Peas with their song “Where is the love” joined by Nastia Kamenskykh as well as popular artists Ozuna, CNCO, Prince Royce, Sofia Reyes, Farrukko and others. The performance was specifically dedicated to supporting the Ukrainian people and the heroes who bravely stand up for freedom and fight against russia, which insidiously and cruelly stepped on the soil of independent Ukraine on February 24. The frontman of the group Will.i.am integrated the slogan “Pray for Ukraine” into the song, this is how the rapper expressed his solidarity and support. In the meantime, the grand performance was accompanied by emotional footage of the crushing war and affected civilians in the devastated cities. The eyes of Ukrainians in that video expressed the hope for victory and the dream of a peaceful life in a unified and independent country.

Uniting the Latin American music world, Ukrainian singer asked the viewers and participants to shout as loudly as possible about the war in Ukraine. After all, such aggression is unacceptable in the 21st century: “War has no place in the modern world. I beg you, do not forget about my country. Talk about it, support it as much as you can. Because freedom now has a different name. Freedom is Ukraine.”

Also, during the conversation with Latin American Music Awards host Julio Vaqueiro, NK noted that every nation has the right to independence and security.

“We all have the right to live under a peaceful sky. We all have the right to happiness and freedom. And this is what Ukraine is fighting for now. This is what we ask of you. Protect us by supporting Ukraine,” the singer added from the stage.

Before the award Nastia Kamenskykh had already spoken to reputable international media on popular TV shows to appeal to Latin American countries and the US to support Ukraine.
