Kyiv, Ukraine: On July 8, 2019 one of the most successful contemporary Latin artists Maluma comes to Ukraine for the very first time to perform live. Everything needs to be at its best: from the sound at the show, to exciting plot of the performance, to an artist responding to the grand-scale of the event who’d be starting the show. To this point, to get the audience up and dancing, all-time Ukrainian pop diva NK was chosen.

No wonder NK was honoured to open the show of the globally renowned Maluma as she was the first Ukrainian artist to become popular in Latin America. Her song Peligroso remains in Billboard top Tropical Songs chart for 2 months by now as well as it was ranked number one most added song by Music Choice. The artist also became a distinguished guest representing Ukraine at Latin Grammy Awards and Person of the Year Gala not to mention her guest appearances on the most top-rated Latin TV shows including ¡Despierta América!, Acceso Total, Buenos Dias la Familia etc. 

Tremendous accomplishments is something both artists have in common. Colombian singer was awarded Latin Grammy for “Best Contemporary Pop Album” while his songs regularly feature Billboard top chart. His numerous collaborations include hits recorded with Shakira, XXXTENTACION, Lil Pump, and recent featuring with Madonna. Finally his massive hit El Perdedor generated over a billion views on YouTube. 

“I was deeply impressed by the way NK sounds, as well as by her Latin American character and vibe she projects. She’s a true cosmopolitan girl – her songs are frequently played in Latin America. I’m very positive that NK’s involvement would make the show even more exciting,” said Maluma.

“To share the stage with such a huge artist is a great honour and pleasure. I’ve been really fond of Maluma’s work for a while. You simply can’t stand still to his music. I strongly believe that the show’s gonna be epic as Maluma has an incredible bond with the audience established when performing. I’m gonna give all myself there too,” shared NK.

NK is simultaneously promoting Latin culture in Ukraine and represents her motherland abroad emphasizing attention on how talented Ukrainian artists truly are which proves that NK is a naturally born Cosmopolitan Girl who’s able to communicate fluently in 5 languages. At a national level NK has recently been awarded Female Artist of the Year and Best Music Video by M1 Major Music Awards, Newsmaker of the Year and Best International Star by TRC Ukraine. She’s successfully established herself as a mentor  too – discovering and coaching the winner of the latest The X factor show in Ukraine.
